Remembering Those Who Fight

The yellow ribbon is an American symbol that reminds us all that there are brave men and women in uniform who are overseas risking life and limb on our behalf.  Since September 11, 2001, the US Military has been deployed not just in Iraq and Afghanistan, but all around the world in an effort to stamp out terrorism where it conspires to do us and our allies harm.  In truth, our military has been overseas since the end of World War II, standing stalwartly against the forces of Communism in Europe, Korea, and Vietnam.  While the Cold War may be over, and while we may be fighting radical and violent enemies directly, there are elements that plot their own expansions at our expense.  The saying that Freedom is never Free has certainly never been truer than what we experience in our day and age.  While not all of us may agree to the whys and wherefores of the mission our troops are sent on, we can at least admire them and their sacrifice and that of their families who must endure their temporary absence.  A set of Yellow Awareness Ribbon Cufflinks can complete an ensemble with a matching yellow ribbon on your lapel or tie.  These military cufflinks are made of polished stainless steel and make excellent gifts for those who honor our service men and women overseas.  Silver cufflinks offer an elegant way to show your support for the troops and their overall mission to protect and defend the United States.

The Shelby AC Cobra

Carroll Shelby’s legendary AC Cobra cars are the automotive standard of excellence with high performance cars.  It set the benchmark for speed and handling which would eventually go on to coin the term “muscle car” for the beefy V8 engines used in their design.  Their distinctive racing design with their long, twin exhaust pipes gives these cars a look that every car enthusiast will recognize immediately when they see it.  Renowned for their awesome speeds, especially from stops, the Cobra awed everyone, including comedian Bill Cosby, who delivered a veritable ode to this car and what it could do in his classic monologue 200mph.  Real, original Cobras aren’t very often seen on the roads anymore, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see one all the time.  The Red Race Car Cufflinks are in the form of a classic red AC Cobra complete with the center white racing stripe and the twin exhaust pipes along the sides.   And if red isn’t your color, it comes in two other colors, made by designer Cracked Pepper.  Silver cufflinks make outstanding gifts for friends and family and the Cracked Pepper styles of automotive cufflinks are sure to give that driving enthusiast you know immense satisfaction and delight.  While today’s exotic sports cars may outperform the classic Shelby Cobra in various ways, the Cobra is still the standard by which they’re all judged.  Performance achieved with the best engine, materials, and expertise create the level of excellence that is associated with the term “classic,” and that makes a great standard for anyone to measure up to.

A Token of Faith

The Christian life is one of joy and sacrifice, love and commitment, to one and all, regardless of faith or creed.  The early Christians suffered mightily for their faith, and in so doing transformed entire nations and set the foundations of Western Civilization that would reach well beyond that day on Calvary.  The hardships that one faces are met with the strength and conviction that comes from faith that the material of this world is not all that there is, that there is something more to life than what we can see and hear.  It was what carried the early American settlers through trying and deadly winters, and through the turmoil of the Revolution, and to the settlement of the west.  To those who share this faith with you the gift of the Ornate Black Cross Pendant is a marvelous expression of the esteem you have for those whose fellowship keeps your faith in God strong.  Made of stainless steel, this pendant is exquisitely well crafted and flawless in presentation, and goes well with any outfit for both men and women.  Pendants and chains, and silver cufflinks, make suitable and tasteful gifts for anyone from casual acquaintances to personal friends and are sure to deliver the appropriate expression of one’s esteem.  They make a wonderful way to share your faith in the divine with style, grace and charm that’s suitable for any outfit, both formal and informal.  While this life may get you down from time to time, it does help to have a reminder that there is more to life than either you or the entire world, and it helps to know that there are friendly companions to help you along the way.

Marathon Runner

The first “marathon” was ran by just one participant.  Pheidippides, a Greek soldier, is said to have ran more than 150 miles over two days, to deliver messages to the Spartans for reinforcements and then to Athens to announce the victory at the Battle of Marathon, where he died from exhaustion.  The term marathon refers to his last race, roughly 26.2 miles, celebrated today.  Running a full marathon is quite an achievement.  Naturally you’d probably also like to win, but just to be able to finish is winning enough for most people.  Running 26.2 miles non-stop, potentially up and down hills, is mostly about endurance, not speed.  While you may not always be the one to cut the ribbon, you can take pride in knowing that you are among the special athletic elite.  It takes a high level of dedication to training, nutrition, and more training to even be able to finish that distance, and even more to finish in the top fifty, twenty, and even the top ten.  So when you sport these 26.2 Marathon Cufflinks wherever you go, those who know the significance of that magic number will take note of your amazing accomplishment.  It’s really not every day you hang around a real marathon runner.  They’ll recognize the work you put in to make that race and know that you’re certainly no slacker.  These and other sports cufflinks are excellent displays of your athletic prowess and interests with elegance and professionalism that doesn’t distract from your formal attire.  These and other silver cufflinks make great gifts to those who are so dedicated to what they do.

American Eagle Cufflinks

America has been through a lot over the last 234 years of her history.  Valiantly and doggedly defeating the greatest army on Earth, the British Army at the time, she would quickly span the North American continent, blaze trails through the wilderness, brave attacks against marauding Indian tribes, fight a terrible Civil War to end slavery, develop one of the world’s most extensive railroad systems, fight and win two World Wars, and then continue onto win an insidious Cold War.  In all that time, America has championed individual liberty and freedom not just for her own citizens, but for all men and women throughout the globe.  With American servicemen abroad fighting for her ideals around the globe, not to mention the internal struggles for the soul of the nation between the ordinary citizens and their politicians, Americans still have much to be proud of.  Show your support for your country and those who serve her with a set of USA Coat of Arms Cufflinks.  These silver cufflinks feature the distinct United States emblem, with the American Bald Eagle bearing the red, white, and blue stars and stripes shield and holding an olive branch in its right claw symbolizing a commitment to peace, with a cluster of arrows in its left claw representing its willingness to defend its own liberty.  These and other professional cufflinks are a nice addition to any formally dressed patriot who loves his country and wants it to be prosperous.  Great for military veterans both new and old, let the Stars and Stripes wave forever.

For the Film Aficionado

Feature films mark the particular point where mankind mostly either read things for entertainment or watched live actors perform on stage.  In ways no novel or stage play could ever do, a good film can create a visceral experience for the audience that will stick with them longer and more vividly, and far more quickly.  Where it might take someone a couple of days or longer to read a novel, you can watch a film in a fraction of that time.  While this might not be as nuanced as reading a novel, this is the mass-media favored by today’s modern William Shakespeares and Mark Twains, both of whom if they had access and trained to such methods would be quite inclined to use them.  Filmmaking requires more than just one person’s talent, but the talent of many people, from writers and directors to actors and stage crafters, combining the technical with the creative to make stories come to life.   For the film aficionado who appreciates the work and talent that goes into making these works of art there is the Old School Movie Camera Cufflinks.  An off-beat and classy set of silver cufflinks, these unique cufflinks feature an old style film camera mounted on a tripod reminiscent of the days when films were largely shot in black and white, and were often silent.  A wonderful way to look back at where films have come from in their early days and marvel at what they can do today.  Perfect for the film fan in your life, or as part of your own collection.

Be Santa’s Helper!

Life isn’t all work and no play, and we’re often given a lot of chances to be reminded of this by the festivities that mark the year.  Christmas is one of those special times of the year when we get together to be with family, friends, and even co-workers to exchange both material gifts and the gift of being in one another’s company and enjoy the yuletide celebration.  On such occasions you need to get into the spirit of things, if not for your own morale but for those you work and do business with.  After all, would you rather be thought of as a Mr. Scrooge or a Mr. Fezziwig, who was Scrooge’s jubilant employer who Scrooge himself fondly reminisces with the aid of the Ghost of Christmas Past.   At the same time, you don’t have to wear long red hats and long white beards to show that you’ve got the Christmas spirit.  A set of these Santa Clause Cufflinks are a tasteful, elegant way to show your enthusiasm for the holiday spirit in a way that’s both fun and dignified.  These silver cufflinks show a charming star-speckled sleigh filled with gifts bound to wherever you may happen to go, offering your own bit of assistance to Santa and the sheer enormity of his task.  Naturally, the spirit of Christmas isn’t just about something that happens one day a year; it is about enjoying life and what you have with the people that share your life with you.  To that end, a wide myriad of specialty cufflinks can give you that up-beat cheer you’re looking for to maintain that sense of goodwill all year round.

Something Red to Toast With

There are three principle grapes that constitute most red wines.  There is the sublime Merlot grape, which is noted for its distinct full-bodied plum and other fruit flavors that rather soothes the palate with a noted oak aftertaste.  There is the robust Cabernet Savignon, known for having a greater degree of tannin in its wines that enable the wine-maker to fortify it for long-term storage so that you may enjoy it at certain times years away when it finally “peaks” to perfection.  Last but not least is the marvelous Pinot Noir, an exquisite symphony of fruit flavor that goes well with virtually any dish yet comes from such a very tedious grape to grow.  As a result, Pinot Noir only grows in very few places where it is seasonally optimal.  For the wine connoisseur or for those who just happen to like the stuff you can show your appreciation for this ancient beverage with a set of Red Wine Cufflinks.  These silver cufflinks are shaped in a quaint and charming wine glass completely filled to the brim with either a burgundy or a syrah that will never spill, so you always have a glass on hand, or off the cuff as it were, to toast to friends and family with at all times.  These, and other specialty cufflinks, offer a bit of classy exuberance to bring to any occasion that the observant will find delightful and clever.   Great as gifts or just as a way for you to show your own interests in wines.

A Special Box for Special Cufflinks

Sometimes, you need to keep something special in very safe keeping.  You may have a wedding ring, a pledge pin, a military coin, or something that means something of sentimental or even monetary value that you simply do not want to lose.  A nice set of designer cufflinks, for instance, is no different than a good set of diamond jewelry, and some cufflinks are affiliated with something important, such as a college, a hospital, or perhaps a private club such as the Masons, the Rotary, or the Elks.  A large cufflinks case/box would be nice, but maybe you don’t want to mix and match links and studs in the same box.  To that end, you should purchase a fine quality Box for Cufflinks and Studs.  Elegant in its simple metal design, such a box will stand out among your wardrobe in a form you’ll come to recognize for what it possesses and will keep your precious cufflinks and studs separate and safe from being lost or worse.  This is an excellent way to present a new college graduate, a friend or colleague, or a family member a distinguished set of cufflinks of their own to treasure with fond remembrance of what they’ve accomplished and what they had to do for it.  Such a presentation will impress the recipient of both the value and meaning of the gift itself, and they will come to treasure their cufflinks as much as you’ve come to treasure yours.  Items that you value in this way ought to have their own place to keep them.

Plan for a Large Cufflink Collection

It won’t take long.  Any professional who dresses formally will amass a collection of clothing and articles that will match and exceed one’s current storage capacity.  Women especially desire a sizable assortment of dressing options to stand out and not have to wear something that even remotely looks the same two or more days in a row.  Hence any woman worth her salt will have numerous pairs of shoes and bags for various functions and events.  It may be a point of amusement for men to make fun of her ponderous collection of shoes, but fashion trends may turn the tables on men.  It’s not too uncommon for men to have multiple pairs of shoes, numerous ties and shirts in order to change up their professional appearances, and this will include their cufflinks.  Through purchases and gifts, both a man’s and woman’s collection of designer cufflinks will grow big enough to warrant the purchase of a suitable cufflinks case/box.  A Large Mahogany Cufflinks Box will store as many as 72 sets of cufflinks in a rich wooden case that will be fit nicely on any dresser or wardrobe.  Featuring a glass display window to showcase your fine cufflinks, this box will keep them organized and free of dust and other contaminates, which will help maintain their luster for many years to come.  Though you may currently not need a box like this to hold a small amount of cufflinks you currently possess, it’s good to plan ahead.  Designer cufflinks are always trendy, fashionable, and even if you never wear them, they have enormous collector’s appeal.
