Putting Like A Pro

Golf is not a game about power and distance.  It’s a game about strategic placement.  Sun Tzu once said that if you know yourself and your enemy you will not lose a hundred battles.  Applied to golf, that means if you understand your strengths and weaknesses, you need to play to those and you need to understand the golf course where you’re playing at.  That means that you need to understand where you’re planning to put that ball with the club you’re using, considering your swing is good.  If you always pull the driver from your bag, and swing for all you’ve got, you’ll more often than not put the ball into places that don’t play to your strengths, let alone putting it in the rough, or worse.  And if you’re not all that good at putting, you need to be able to put the ball as close to the pin on the green as possible so that you’ll have a much better chance of sinking the putt when the time comes.  Putting is as crucial, if not more so, than the perfect drive, and those that wear the Golf Ball and Putter Cufflinks probably know that pretty well.  These silver cufflinks feature a nice putter addressing the ball as if to put it in the hole.  Sports cufflinks are a splendid way of helping you focus on what’s important to you, and why you work as hard as you do to be able to do the things you love.  Putting is not easy, and often it’s something you have to really work at to account for the fact that you’ll not always place the ball within five feet of the cup.  Always practice your putting and you’ll not be afraid when you place that ball twenty, thirty, or even forty feet.

Think About Fathers

Did you miss Father’s Day?  Hopefully not, but even if you hadn’t you ought to consider your father every now and then beyond just the standard holidays and his birthday.  He’s the man that helped raise you, provided for you and gave you a start in this world.  He taught you wisdom of the ages and perhaps showed you how to fish, hunt, and drive.  He was there to protect you and guide you through your formative years, often without much more than a thanks and a pat on the back on occasion from his wife and offspring.  So you should keep him in mind and festoon him with a surprise gift from time to time, but what to get him beyond power tools and sports tickets?  Those are nice and they will be received warmly, but when you’re not giving him those things consider a set of these Father’s Day Watch Cufflinks.  These functional cufflinks are actual working watches that he can wear on his sleeves in addition to his dress watch, so he’ll have back-ups in case the wrist watch goes out.  With a quick installation of a simple battery, and a minute time adjustment, he’ll always have something that’ll keep him abreast of the time as he goes about his day while the jeweler replaces the battery on his dress watch.  Silver cufflinks are but one of many kinds of gifts to honor your Dad throughout the year and not just on Father’s Day.  Remember, consider what he’d certainly use and he’ll love it.

A Fish Story On Your Sleeve

It began early during a cold morning along the river.  It was a quiet and the day was overcast with clouds.  You lit up a fine cigar and cracked open a novel to pass the time.  Nothing on the fishing line but the mealy worm you put on the hook.  Hours passed and the clouds broke up from the heat of the midday sun.  It was just then that the fish struck.  Wielding a knife in each fin, it demanded that you give up the rest of your worms.  Knowing that it’d stab you anyway, you made a go for the sturgeon’s stubby fins, taking advantage of the fact that it can’t breathe out of water for long.  With a jab to its gut, it dropped the knives and you began wailing on it like a professional wrestler on the weekly hapless nobody.  You didn’t quite know about the extra knife it had hidden in a rather unmentionable place, using that to slash at you to give you a good scar on your chest to go with your victory.  That’s how you’ll tell that fish story when they see these flashy Fishing Reel Cufflinks sparkling off your sleeve.  These silver cufflinks feature one of the more important tools in a fisherman’s tackle box, a fishing reel cast with a spool of golden line.  Recreation games cufflinks like these allow the occasional sportsman in formal wear to enjoy what he likes in a way appropriate to the venue he has to attend, be that at work or at play.  When you share this fish story with others, be sure to show them the scar the sturgeon gave you.  Otherwise, they might not believe it.

Smiley Emotes

It’s amazing how well human beings can develop ways of communication.  Just over the past couple of decades, the emoticon has become something of an additional language of our culture, something to use when words in an email, text message, or an instant messenger just doesn’t convey your whole meaning in a way you would when you’re face to face with the person you’re talking to.  The Smiley Emoticon has transcended from being the ubiquitous smiley face invented in 1963 by Harvey R. Ball (who, sadly, never trademarked it) as part of a catchy ad campaign to the expressions of delight and happiness that we see on computer screens everywhere such expressions are required.  Indeed, it has developed an entire family of emoticons ranging from sad to sinister, laughter to anguish.  So when you wear your Smiley Emoticon Cufflinks on your sleeve you can be sure everyone will be aware of your mood without saying one word.  These silver cufflinks feature the distinctive smiley face engraved in a silver circle button that looks quite smooth on the cuff and are immediately familiar for what they are.  Recreation cufflinks are a terrific way to spruce up the mood of you and those around you with discrete class and style that will not go unnoticed even by the most sour of curmudgeons at work or anywhere you’d happen to run into them.  A happy mood is quite infectious and your colleagues, friends and family will appreciate whatever you do to elevate the spirits around you.

Grab Attention With What You Write With

One way to stand out among your peers is by what you use to do your job, what you drive, and where you live.  It’s a point of pride that we gravitate to the latest and greatest gadgets to not only help make our jobs better but look better do it.  Like a construction contractor with a new power tool or a pilot with a fancy new airplane we like to show off who we are especially if what we use does the job better, faster, and easier than anything else anyone else has.  That’s when people start to envy you for what you got and take more notice of you.  At a professional, formal business environment, it might be more difficult to be as flashy as you’d like to be because you’re probably restricted to using company computers, and unless you do business on the road hardly anyone will see that Bugatti you drove in on or care that you did.  Beyond your personal attire and computer what do you use more often than anything else?  Probably your pen.  Check out the 4 in 1 Multifunction Pen.  When you break this out, most people might not immediately notice that it’s also a plastic stylus for your smartphone or PDA, a laser pointer and a flashlight all in one sleek, slender package.  Pens and pen sets like this will give you a bit of the kind of attention that you’re trying to get with your silver cufflinks, giving you a trend-setting motif that others will no doubt seek to emulate.

Ride Around the Course in Style

Some golfers might be afraid to admit they use an electrical golf cart to take them around the links.  It implies they can’t drag their own clubs and perform as well without it.  However, most people aren’t professional athletes.  Even if you have the time to work out and keep in shape, walking eighteen holes of golf hauling your own clubs rather than having a caddy do that is tough on anyone.  Golf is a leisurely sport, meant to be enjoyed casually for a few hours with a cadre of fellow enthusiasts, and is tough enough without having to strain yourself and throw off your swing from exhaustion.  Better to ride around in a nice golf cart, get on and off each hole fast rather than hold up the party behind you, and enjoy the game.  When you’re off the links, wear your Golf Cart Cufflinks with pride.   These silver cufflinks feature a tiny two-seater golf cart complete with a pair of fully loaded golf bags ready to play an entire round of eighteen holes and park it at the nineteenth.  These will add a nice touch to your social game and announce to one and all that you’re ready to join a foursome at a convenient tee time.  Novelty cufflinks are a wonderful way to show your pride in who you are and what you like to do.  There’s nothing embarrassing about using a golf cart, except having to push it back to the clubhouse when the batteries die.
