Should You Rely on Fate?
Sometimes you just have to understand why some people would rather rely on the supernatural to explain the things that are happening in their lives. We really don’t have control, whether we like it or not. It is easy to blame it on things such as karma or fate and what-have-yous. It is difficult to contest the beliefs of those who say so.
If we are going to use logic and reasoning, the things that are happening in our lives are just the result of what we do and what the people around us do directly or indirectly to us. It is futile to blame it on something that does not exist or that has not been proven. If you believe that you can make a difference in your life, the first step is to admit that you do have control, again, directly and indirectly.
You might be a little confused. To explain it more clearly, such contradiction between being able to control your life and not being able to do so happens because some of the decisions you make and the actions you carry on are of your sole doing while the bulk of what’s been happening with your life is the result of the collective actions and decisions of everyone—meaning, you and the rest of the world.
