Keep It On the Level
The most important thing about building a structure is that they have to be level. Level, as in flat and stable enough so that if you were to set a ball on the floor it wouldn’t roll provided that the floor was flat and smooth enough to let it roll if it also had a slope. Every floor the building has to be level as well, and the rest of the building has to be considered “true,” meaning in reference and context to the way the building is designed. Nothing can be more embarrassing or expensive than having a floor that isn’t level, and it just never hurts to be as sure that the workers building your structure are doing the job right. While you may not be able to always bring a tool box and instruments with you while wearing business attire, a set of Liquid Level Cufflinks are a nice, inobtrusive way to gauge the level of objects, floors, and structures when you conduct a periodic inspection. These silver cufflinks feature a green liquid bubble level just like those found on the carpenter levels. Use it like you would its bigger brother if you feel the need. These functional cufflinks make a great gift for engineers, architects, millwrights, carpenters and other construction contractors who occasionally have to put on a suit and a tie when they go to work. As stated, it’s highly embarrassing and expensive to have to tear up a sloped floor and rebuild, so it just never hurts to be as sure as you can.
